Music You Won’t Hear Anywhere Else Around Here
Music in the Church at Aust is a small independent musical charity dedicated to promoting a regular series of musical events featuring an eclectic mix of early music, mostly mediaeval, traditional music from a variety of cultures, and the occasional contemporary surprise.
We create opportunities for people to hear music not normally available to them and encourage them to sample new forms of music that usually might not attract them.
Aust is just by the old Severn Bridge on the English side.
Sound of the Month
If you hear music, it is With A Little Bit O’Luck, sung by Stanley Holloway and taken from the musical My Fair Lady. Dave Sealey will be at Aust on 12 July with his rendering of the life, the music and the monologues of Stanley Holloway .
